Entertainment for the whole family abounds at the Kids Village and Magical Playgarden brought to you by Earth Child, retailer of natural and sustainable children’s products. Selected for both their talents and values, our entertainers are sure to amaze and delight the child in everyone.
Become entranced as Maria Jameau and the Bija Children’s Choir of Sonoma County, perform a folk and classic repertoire from many of the rich cultural traditions of the world. Experience the musical talents of the Sebastopol Independent Waldorf Charter School’s 3rd grade Violinists. Get up and dance to Leli Devi, Bollywood Dancers from 6th and 7th grade and let Circus Waldissima captivate your spirit as their young performers demonstrate great skills in the circus arts. Alive is the magic of being a child when parents and their children participate in partner acrobatics and theater game workshops. Engage in drumming, hula hooping, juggling and yoga classes. Allow visual artist Lisa Fredenthal-Lee, as seen on PBS and KRCB, empower children and adults alike with creative art projects using recyclable everyday objects. Let your freedom of expression come alive as you create prayer flags, bubble wands, dream catchers, crowns, head wreaths and herbal sachets. The Kid’s Village is located just beyond the Harmony Hall in one of the only shady areas in the fairgrounds. Amongst the trees, you will experience the magic of Benny the Wizard and Bebe the Clown performing superb balloon sculpting, magic and clowning. Ron the magician will once again captivate the entire family with his spectacular stage show. Saturday night we are honored to be showcasing the Goddess Alchemy Project with students from the Nonesuch School as they weave a myriad of influences into a unified tapestry of sound. Food and drinks will be available for the kids provided by Peter Lowell’s restaurant, Nana Mae apple juice and Guyaki. Join us for an exciting and memorable experience at the Kid Village and Magical Playground during this years 30th anniversary of the Harmony Festival. |
